March Challenge at LeAnn's

Image
Hey there, Crafty Soul! LeAnn has decided to keep the digi shop and challenges going until May so here's what I created for March's Challenge using Daisy Easter from the LeAnn World 101 digi shop, First I diecut out my image with a postage stamp die from my stash. I then started off coloring it by blending the edges with Speckled Egg, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. I then went to my new set of skin tone alcohol markers that I got off Amazon. To be honest they were the cheapest pack, but I am loving how they color! After I had my image colored up with alcohol markers I went to a set of eyeshadows that have started crumbling on me and I used them to add shine to her little dress. I also used a paint stick from Daiso to add some more detail to her skirt. I also added some sparkle to her necklace and bracelets with a sparkly gel pen. Next, I grabbed a patterned paper from my stash, popped it up on foam tape, wrapped a piece of burlap twine arou...

After that I stamped and embossed some hexagons from the same patterns and fussy cut them out too. I did a bit of edge inking on the diecut image, popped the both on foam, and mounted them on my cards with a sentiment. I did a little bit of edge inking on the diecut image and popped both on foam before mounting them onto my cards. I love how they're like fraternal twins, very similar, but different. Here's my second entry for the month using Benji and Friend from LeAnn's World 101. I colored him up with alcohol markers, fussy cut them out, and went around the edge with a black marker to define the outline. Then I took a 5.25x 4 in blue panel and stamped it with ink roads stamps basic collage elements Volume 1. I found scrap light weight craft paper in my stash and wiped Distress Oxide ink over it in faded jeans after crumpling it up for texture. I went back to my scrap box for the blue striped paper and cut it to go across the bottom of my blue panel. I then found a red and blue pattern and cut them down to look like washi strips. When I figured out where I wanted Benji to sit I inked behind him in rain cloud by ranger and layered up some circles behind where their heads would go. Hey crafty friends! It's a brand new month so that means it's time for another challenge over on the LeAnn's World 101 Blog. I colored her up with alcohol markers, fussy cut her out and went around her edges with a black marker for more definition. Then I grabbed a pencil and a ruler to map out my trackers. The first two are just calendars in 2 different sizes to write down work out and meals and the last is a list with 28 boxes to fill in habits After everything was penned out I stamped my days of the week and titles with little letter stamps from my stash in Valentinesie Distress Oxides colors and Stazon black. Then it was time to really make it pretty so I grabbed out Ink Road Stamps : Self Love Club, INKed Lorraine, Bun Intended Vol 2, along with some Heidi Swapp stamps. I love the way all the gho...

Hello Crafty Friends! I am so happy to announce that I am now a part of LeAnn's World 101 Challenge Team! Our challenge this month is "Anything Goes" and I decided to make a pop up card using the "Here's to Us" digital stamp from LeAnn's World 101. I started off by coloring in my characters's skin tones and hair before I decided on a color scheme for the card. Once I have chosen my mood board I finished coloring my characters, I added lots of sparkle with a few gel pens, and fussy cut them out. Then grabbed an A2 top fold card. I scored it at 1 inch 2.5 inches and 4 inches... And then folded it into a little box on one side of the card. I stamped out my sentiment and diecut out a little window from black cardstock with square dies. I cut rectangles to cover the bottom at 1" x 1⅜ and stamped on them as well to create sort of a carpet pattern for my scene. I diecuts a couple banners to decorate the background a lit bit more. And finished off my c...
