Life's a Garden Scrapbook Page Feat. CCC 147

 Hey Hey Crafty Gems!

I have a fun 12x12 scrapbook layout to show you all using CCC 147 along with Ginny the Gardener Stamp #386.

First off I gotta give props to Missy Widden! I saw this layout created by her a few weeks ago and completely fell in love with it! I followed the begining of her YouTube video and the background, but went my own way on the embellishments and photos.

I colored my stamped images with alcohol markers (as usual 🤪) and grabbed some scrap papers that matched. I cut 'em down to 3inches across and ripped the bottoms to around 4ish inches. After gluing them down, I grabbed my sewing machine and went around the edges of each. 

Then I added some gesso to the background, and a little to the patterned papers. When that was dry, I pulled out my watercolors and splashed coral, green, and light purple on the background and over the patterned papers.

Then it was time to embellish! I mounted my photos of my new flower beds and pots on white cardstock to make them stand out, and layered tissue paper and a dollie behind them. Then I stuck down some flower and phrase stickers from a couple different Crate Paper sticker sheets. I sprinkled some hearts around and tucked some golden and lilac thread about the page to add a little bit of texture.

After that, I added my title and my page was finished!
